So, I'm 27 weeks pregnant now. Next week starts the third trimester. I know I still have a little while to go, but I like to plan ahead and it's never too early to think about pain relief.

So today is the first day of my 22nd week. We met with my doula Nicole on Wednesday and she is an angel. I can't wait to work with her. I'm also thinking of using a midwife instead of an OB. Hi guys, I know I just posted yesterday but we're getting to the pointy end now and I'm actually forced to think about having a baby haha and you guys are mega helpful.

Let me first start by saying I don't like pain. At ALL. BUT, I do want to try and give birth without and epidural, if possible...i'd like to labor and be able to push in different positions, etc. Is there anything that relieves pain that I can be given, say interveinously that will help with the pain but still allow me to be mobile and be in ( Read more... )
